Cookie policy
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. They are used to remember choices between pages and, in some cases, to measure how the site is used. Here they are not used to identify you personally or to build an advertising profile.
The first time you visit, you will see a notice with four categories. Only the essential ones are active by default: the others are not installed until you accept them, and rejecting them takes one click, just like accepting them.
Which cookies are used
- Essential. A first-party cookie,
soidem_consent, which stores for six months which categories you have accepted, and a copy of that same choice in the browser's local storage. Without it we would have to ask you again on every page. They cannot be turned off and are not shared with anyone. - Language. If you choose a language using the site's language selector, a first-party cookie,
soidem_idioma, stores it for one year so that the website is shown in that language on your next visits. It is a functional cookie: it remembers a preference you have asked for, so, like the essential cookies, it does not require prior consent. It is not shared with anyone and, if it is not present, your browser's language is used. - Analytics. If you accept them, Google Analytics is loaded, which sets the cookies
_gaand_ga_<identifier>for a maximum of two years. They tell us which pages are visited and how people get to them, in aggregate. It is configured with IP anonymisation and advertising signals turned off, so it is not used for ads. - Approximate location. Country and province inferred from the connection, so we know where enquiries come from. Never the device's precise location, which would require your express permission in the browser.
- Marketing. These would allow us to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns. None are installed at present; if any were added in future, they would only load with this category accepted, and this text would be updated beforehand.
How to change your mind
You can review or withdraw your consent whenever you like, without giving reasons and as easily as you gave it:
When you withdraw it, we stop loading anything that depends on that category. Any cookies already installed can be deleted from your browser. You can also set your browser to warn you when a site tries to install cookies or to block them altogether; see your browser's help pages. You do not need to accept any cookies beyond the essential ones to use this site.
For how long
Your choice is stored for six months. After that period we ask you again, following the recommendation of the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD). We also ask again if we change the categories or the providers.
